Quiz Library

HexQuiz covers seven fields of knowledge, divided into 35 disciplines and 174 categories. Every category is built to the same depth — 630 questions, spread across all ten formats and all five difficulties — which puts the library at 109,620 questions.

How the library is organised

Three levels, and you browse all three. A domain is a field of knowledge, a discipline is a subject within it, and a category is the thing you actually play — it is where difficulty and medals are tracked. Each domain carries its own colour and its own musical theme.

All 174 categories are listed below, by domain and discipline, with what to expect from each.

Five levels of difficulty

Every category is written at all five, so a subject can be played gently or seriously without leaving it. The difficulty page explains what each level assumes and how it is unlocked.

How a category is built

630 questions per category is not a round number picked for effect. It is a fixed quota of every question format at every difficulty — 126 questions per level across five levels — so no category is all multiple choice, and no difficulty is thin.

After release

Categories are added continuously — beyond the 174, not merely up to them. New disciplines and whole new domains are as possible as further categories inside the existing ones.
